Her face

On a recent trip to the park I was snapping away and it struck me that as our children grow up they experience inevitable changes.  One being their physical appearance.  While people may bear a resemblance to their childhood self, those childish features disappear.  As I looked at our daughters beautiful face, I wanted to freeze time and remember her, as she is now, for a little longer.  Her hair will grow, her face will change and while she will still be beautiful, she won’t have this face.  Parenting is so bittersweet isn’t it?  As our children grow we lose so many little things, but we gain in equal measure.  If we don’t take a minute to notice, we might not even see the changes happening.

The other weekend we went to a park and Baby developed an obsession with benches.  Which was a little stressful when we needed to leave, but it did mean hubby could get these shots of her.

She has so much character and I love pictures like these where that comes bursting off the page for all to see.  Our exuberant little Miss.
