Selfie Stick Review
As a Mummy, I take lots of pictures of Baby. Every day, I will be clicking away and I must have thousands of pictures of her, all of which I adore. Sometimes, however, I want to get in the picture too, so that she remember when she is older that I was there with her through all her experiences. This can prove tricky and I am often chopping a bit of our faces off to get us both in the shot. I was asked if I would like to review a Selfie Stick from 7DayShop.com and I thought it might solve our problems.
There were some issues with the sticks I selected being out of stock, but after a couple of attempts I received our Bluetooth Selfie Stick.
The phone holder and the stick section simply screw together, with the stick extending to 23.5cm to 100.5cm. The one we reviewed was a bluetooth stick, which paired to my phone and worked on Android 3.0 and iOS 4.0 devices and above*. There is a little button on the section of the stick that you hold to press to take the button, first press is focus, 2nd click takes the shot and if you hold it a little longer (on my phone anyway) it takes a sequence of shots.
Although the Phone holder can expand up to 9cm to hold different sized phones, it couldn’t accommodate my Samsung Zoom, due to the width of the base of the phone and zoom lens. So, I swapped my sim and used my standby Asus Zen phone for the review. It was relatively easy to set up, just searched for bluetooth devices and connected them together. It only took an hour to charge and has a standby life of 100 hours.
It also has a universal 1/4 inch screw for cameras, which is handy. Being lightweight and small enough to pop into your bag, means it is easy to take out and about with you.
We really enjoyed using the Selfie Stick, it made getting pictures of both of us so much easier. It was possible to get some of our bodies and maybe some background in the shot, rather than a little section of each of our faces.
I would recommend this selfie stick if you like taking couple or group pictures. This stick was originally £19.99 and has now been reduced to £11.99. So a real bargain!
* You may need to download the free app (kjstar-365) for some Android devices if required.
Disclosure: We were sent this selfie stick in return for an honest review.

They are fab aren’t they, I just wished my normal phone fitted in it x
Awesome! Mr J and I started taking selfies a million years ago when we were on holiday and there was just the two of us. They worked out great but now there’s Wonderboy to get in the frame, I’m not sure his arms are quite long enough! Sounds fab and looks like you had lots of fun x
