Having children makes you appreciate the simple things in life, a hot cup of tea and a private trip to the bathroom are my own personal favourites. Having children also gives you an excuse to enjoy simple moments that otherwise would pass you by.
Baby and I go to the park quite a lot, she loves it so much and we both need to be outside in the fresh air every day.
As Baby is growing up, how she experiences places obviously changes. When she was younger, she was all about swings and while she still enjoys them, she now adores climbing and exploring.
Last Friday, having dropped Mr Hubby off at work, Baby and I found ourselves in our local playground. After exploring for a while, climbing up a slippy, muddy hill and getting on and off the roundabout a few times, it was time to play chase.
I so adore my bundle of craziness! We had such fun running round the playground, hiding and then trying to catch each other. So simple and yet so much joy, for both of us.
I love that half an hour in the playground with my gorgeous girl restores me like nothing else can. I know she won’t want to spend her time like this forever, but for now I am grabbing it with both hands.

Baby looks like she had a great time. My little girl and I used to always to go the playground, but I find it a bit stressful going with my boy as he just wants to climb everything.

I treasure ordinary moments like this as well. When my son started school I am so glad we did go out as often as we can as now we have rare chance of just doing this in an impulse. #whatsthestory
