This week has been pretty rubbish! I blogged yesterday about Baby’s challenging behaviour during this week and the fact that I also put my back out. So all in all not the best week! There were some glimpses of sunshine and so I am holding onto those!
Our Week
- Sunday – We hadn’t made any plans. We just set off down the A34, so Baby could nap and on the way I found a children’s activity farm, so we headed there. Although Baby had a fun time, it wasn’t really what we expected. I realise it was a farm, but it was quite rough and boy did it stink! I am an outdoors kind of person and places don’t have to smell like that! Needless to say Mr Hubby and I didn’t much enjoy the experience!
- Monday – Baby and I popped to the local playground on the way to pick up some supplies from the shop. We had to stay in during the afternoon to wait for the Sky repair man, so bit of a chilled out afternoon.
- Tuesday – We went to a blogging event at Paradise Wildlife Park, it was lovely to meet some bloggers that I hadn’t met before. However, Baby was poorly (teething) and desperate for a nap, so we left early.
- Wednesday – We met our friends K and T at our local Children’s farm. Baby coped for a while, until she had a few melt downs and I thought it was best to go home, so she could have a much needed snooze.
- Thursday – I woke up in agony and could barely move (bad back) and so Mr Hubby had to stay at home and look after Baby. Which did mean I was stranded on the couch with my laptop all day (much needed blogging catch up!).
- Friday – I was still a little worse for wear, so Mr Hubby stayed home to look after Baby again. Baby had a trip to the park with Daddy, but otherwise we just chilled at home. Baby’s Aunty arrived late in the evening for the weekend!
- Saturday – After a slow morning we headed out for lunch and a trip round a local village fayre. Baby had a go on the bouncy castle and loved trying to talk to the chickens.
So that’s our week captured. What have you got up to this week? x

What a great week. Was the farm visit a completely spontaneous trip? If it was that is fantastic, in our household we have to have a planning meeting to discuss the location, picnic arrangements, appropriate clothing, contingency clothing etc etc. I wish we could be more spontaneous!
