Sunday was a glorious day, in terms of the weather and the fact that I was reunited with my amazing family (after being away at BritMums Live). Baby and Mr Hubby had been to Wellington Country Park on Saturday and I thought the photos looked great. They had only got round a fraction of the park, so we decided to head off there again, so mummy could enjoy the experience too. I am not sure why we haven’t been there before. It is only about 20 miles from us, well worth the short drive to find such a fantastic place. There was so much to explore!
We investigated the petting area which housed, goats, rabbits, guinea pigs, donkeys, ponies, tortoises, lambs and chickens. Baby had such fun wandering around looking at everything.
She LOVED patting the rabbit.
We mooched over the the playground. Baby has a bit of a ‘thing’ for swings, so they are a ‘must do’ for us on a day out.
Then we found Dinosaurs! They were all nestled in the woodland, a fabulous sight.
It is not everyday you wander into an enchanted forest, but that is what happened next. I must admit I adored this part, maybe more than Baby.
Baby was so active and always wanted to be walking, she must have covered at least ten toddler miles!
An amazing place, one which will definitely be revisited, as we only explored some of the park had to offer. I know as Baby grows up she will find more and more of this fabulous place that she can enjoy. The perfect day spent with the people I love most in the world.
