Baby insisted on wearing her crown, that we made the previous day and bringing her rucksack, which had been kindly gifted to her from byStroom. She adores it and I do too, such a pretty colour and design. It is so well made and will last years. Baby chose purple, but if that’s not your thing, there are many colours to pick from.

Baby decided which direction we would go in and was thrilled to meet lots of friendly dogs along the way.
This girl just loves exploring, running, twirling and making the most of every second we spend outdoors.

She thought bird spotting was amazing too. Collecting treasures along the way, which mummy had to help her put in various different pockets of her rucksack.

She insisted on wearing her rucksack the entire time and it stayed put too, thanks to the press studded strap on the front. As we walked, she chattered away about the pony, her toys, her friends and would occasionally break off to twirl or smell a flower, then she would come back in step with me and our chat would continue.

I often wonder what I did right in my life to have such a beautiful daughter. I guess all mums feel like that.

On a day when I was feeling the unrelenting pressure of a constant little voice requesting various things without remission, I was reminded that this little voice is all I ever need to hear. All that actually really matters. My longing for a couple of minutes of silence, is not important when compared to her longing for expression and comfort.

So we ran and we jumped……

She started off avoiding the puddles on my request, as she didn’t have wellies on; however as time wore on the temptation got the better of her…

and she jumped in!

byStroom also kindly gifted me a lovely Gyrith clutch bag, which is on sale right now for a snip! I wondered if I would have much use for it, as I always seem to go out ladened down by kiddy paraphernalia. However, I adore it and at Christmas I popped to the shops alone and took it for a little outing. It has credit card slots built into the inside of the bag. So after slipping a card in there, popping in my purse and phone, I was good to go. It was nice to carry a small bag and a bit of print always makes me feel good.

With the shortest day now behind us I am looking forward to the weather improving, so we can have our adventures when we want and not briefly in between downpours.

I can’t wait for our next adventure!
