Wintry Walks

Last week, just as our Christmas time with Mr Hubby was drawing to a close we headed out for a family day.  Although there was a nip in the air, we were blessed with a lovely bright day.  As we have annual passes, we travelled the short distance to Marwell Zoological Park.  We have been there countless times, but it is always beautiful, never boring.  *Warning this is a very pic heavy post*

She loved that Daddy brought her shades, so she could be cool.  She did keep taking them off, saying ‘uh oh’ and demanding we put them back on her! Probably about a million times.

Mr Hubby and I shared photography duty and I love being allowed to use his ‘big’ camera.  It makes such great clicking noises and always makes me feel like a proper photographer.

Baby has become a little obsessed with knocking on lamp posts.  There weren’t any lamp posts, so a tree had to do.

We did lose her to the lure of this little nook.  She adored sitting in there with her drink and watching the other children.

She does crack me up, such a character.

She said ‘wow’ at every animal she saw.

Trying to feed the model coati a cocktail sausage proved a tricky task.

The knowledge that in a few days everything would be back to normal; Mr Hubby back to work and Baby and I on our own again, made this low key, relaxed day with my lovely little family just perfect.

  1. Oh this looks like a perfect wintery day out. There is something so nice about wrapping up and heading out for an adventure in the cold I think. Such lovely photos of your day. x

  2. This looks like a lovely day out as a family, it’s important to do things like this whilst everyone’s off of work isn’t it? Baby looks like she’s enjoying seeing all the animals. I love the little nook that she decided was her own. Lovely photos. Thanks for linking up with Country Kids.
