One thing you have to get used to as a parent is mess. Kids make a huge amount of mess and a significant proportion of this mess is spillages! If I had a pound for every time Ava spilled her drink… Well, I would currently be on a beach in Barbados…
Whether it’s in the living room or all over the car seat, spills are just another thing I could do without cleaning up. Especially when they leave stains or watermarks. So my ears pricked up when Ribena told me about their brand new range, Ribena Minis, which could reduce potential spillages. Let me fill you in.
The new kid sized bottles feature a ‘Less Spills, Less Mess’ cap, which have been based on in-depth research with parents. A gentle press of the bottle releases the liquid, so accidental spillages become a thing of the past.
A huge bonus for us is that the three flavours, Brilliant Blackcurrant, Oh So Yum Orange and Amazing Apple & Mango and all are no-added sugar; which gives us peace of mind. Each of the yummy flavours also contains real fruit juice too. The bottles come in 200ml and 250ml, so they are the perfect size for Ava’s lunch box and for me to chuck in my handbag when we are going riding. That always works up a thirst!
The caps simply close if the bottle is not finished. As they don’t leak, they are safe to stay in my handbag until she wants to finish it.
The #RibenaMini challenge
Ribena asked up to take the challenge to prove how awesome the caps were. To undertake the challenge we had to be pretty confident they wouldn’t spill. So here goes……..
The test for me was whether I would risk a #ribenaminis bottle in my camera bag. Of course I would!
