Robinsons fruit squash

Robinsons has definitely grown up #Ad

When I think about fruit squash, I automatically think of Robinsons. It’s a product that families have bought and loved for years; our family being no different. I might be a 40 year old mum, but I adore Robinsons (although I have to get it shipped over to France!).

Even though I love the original ranges, I was very interested to hear that they have launched a new Fruit Creations range of squash specifically for us grown-ups. Robinsons enlisted flavour experts to put together the very best fruit combinations for both of their new ‘grown-up’ ranges; Fruit Creations and Fruit Cordial.

I received a bottle of the new Fruit Creations, it contains twice the amount of real fruit compared to Robinsons single concentrate, and no added sugar. I always prefer no added sugar drinks, there’s plenty of natural sugar in fruit anyway. They also don’t include any artificial colours or flavours and let the fruit speak for itself.

The flavour combinations are aimed at a more mature palette, I tried Crisp Apple & Elderflower Barley, which was gorgeous. It was definitely very fruity, without being overly sweet.

I drink A LOT and get terrible headaches if I don’t keep hydrated. I work from home and I have a glass of squash (and a cup of tea!) beside me at all times. I’ve always struggled to enjoy water and so squash makes it easy for me to keep my fluid intake up and enjoy it too. I also speak a fair bit during the day, coaching, doing Facebook lives and recording podcasts, so I have a glass close-by in case I get a frog in my throat.

I really enjoyed the new range, the flavour was definitely delicate and very moreish, so it’s fabulous that it’s less than 10 calories per glass.

I tried the new Crisp Apple & Elderflower Barley, which is a more sophisticated squash flavour, which is very refreshing. The subtle elderflower and crisp apple taste great together.

The new Robinsons Fruit Creations and Fruit Cordial are available in supermarkets near you, go and check them out!
