We were recently challenged by the lovely people at Salter to make some Gingerbread men. To help us get our bake on they kindly sent us some kitchen equipment from their Heston Blumenthal range.
Here is our recipe, which was slightly adapted from one of my old baking books.
Baby enjoyed whisking! I loved the high tech scales, I have never seen any like that before. The whisk made light work of beating the eggs/syrup mixture. However, the best piece of equipment was the adjustable rolling pin. I couldn’t believe how great it was. The rings screw off and on the end to adjust the rolling depth. Then you’re away! Guaranteed perfect thickness every time.
Our final Gingerbread Men! I am dieting and Mr Hubby doesn’t eat cakes/biscuits, so his work colleagues were well fed!
Disclosure: We were sent some Salter kitchen equipment to help us complete this challenge.

Gingerbread Men are one of my favourite Christmas recipes. I love the way you’ve decorated yours 🙂
