Ava tests the smarTrike T5 Scooter

Ava is scooter obsessed, so we jumped at the chance to review one of the new T5 scooters from the multi-award winning outdoor ride-on brand, smarTrike. For her first Christmas we bought her the smarTrike 3-in-1 tricycle and she got so much use out of it, she loved it. So we had high hopes for the scooter.

She couldn’t wait to get going as soon as she laid eyes on it. The handle simply slots into the base, then you can adjust it to the right height for your child. I love things that are really easy to put together, as I really dislike trying to figure out out instructions with a nagging child in the background.

The new scooter range has something for everyone, with three models suitable for children from aged 15 months to 3 years+.

The first is the T1 Scooter (15 months+). This patented 3-stage scooter means children can ride along sitting down due to the T1’s ingenious height-adjustable seat and telescopic handlebar. Then, as the child develops, there are two other positions ending in them riding independently in a traditional position.

Next up is the T3 Scooter (2 years+), which features a foot brake to help little children feel secure, while they learn to ride. Before enabling the tilting function for a fully independent scooter position.

Ava was sent the T5 Scooter, which is suitable for 3 years plus. The T5 is a 2-stage scooter, which features the T-Lock function on the handle bar and a foot brake. It also has a telescopic handlebar, which adapts growing children. This is great if you have a tall child, as there is plenty of room for growth.

As you can see from this face she adores her new scooter so much! She loves the black and pink colour scheme too. It’s lightweight, but also sturdy and well built; so I know it will stand the test of time. I would highly recommend scooters from this range, we love ours.

Disclosure: We were sent this scooter in return for an honest review.
