Do you ever forget a birthday? an Anniversary? You should send a congratulations card, but forgot to pick one up? Yes, yes, yes, I do all of these things. Maybe I am just a bit of a failure, or maybe just a busy mum. I hope it is the latter! I have also tried to buy last minute cards from the local shop, which never ends well.
So when I heard about CardNest, a greetings card subscription service, I was glad to give it a whirl.
CardNest bring together fabulous designs from talented designers scattered all over the world and brings three cards to your door each month. I love the idea of a stash of gorgeous cards waiting for the next time my brain fails, or when I just want to tell someone I am thinking of them.
So I was treated to a three month trial of CardNest and I loved receiving my happy mail. I was actually quite excited opening the cute little envelope each month to see what pretty things I had been sent.
I found that it actually helped me be more spontaneous. If I was thinking about someone and wanted to send them a note, I could do to my ‘happy box’ and select a card I thought they would like and write it there and then. CardNest also give you the option of receiving stamps with your cards, so there really is no excuse not to keep in touch and tell the people in your life how special they are.
The CardNest subscription costs £7.50 per month (International £10 per month) and there is the add on option of £1.86 for three 1st class stamps (which is equal to the Post office price). Personally I think this price is great. The cards are beautiful and £2.50 per card is very competitive, I think I would add on the £1.86 for the stamps as it saves me having to remember another thing!

Blimey there’s a subscription service for everything these days isn’t there? So far I have tried beauty boxes, tampons (yes, really!), food and kawaii. It’s fun, it’s like getting a present in the post every month! Hard to stop myself though, I need to limit my subscriptions because I’d have no money otherwise.
