On the final day of our New Forest weekend we went to Exbury Gardens for a look round. You can catch up with our tips the The New Forest Wildlife Park and Beaulieu Motor Museum if you fancy a read. Also if you are thinking about heading to the New Forest then our review of the Passford House Hotel might come in use.
I think the thing that Baby enjoyed most about the weekend was seeing all of the wild ponies by the roadside. On the journey to Exbury, we stopped so that we could go and meet some of them.

We got to know the ponies, while Mr Hubby drooled over the posh cars in the garage over the road.

We arrived at Exbury Gardens and set off to explore.

Baby just wanted to race with Mr Hubby, although she really needs to know how to be a more gracious loser!

The gardens were so pretty!

There was such a wide variety of gorgeous flowers, which made Baby so happy. She has a bit of a thing for flowers at the moment.

How beautiful is the house?!

We found the Wiggly tree and obviously Baby wanted to pose for some pictures.

We came across the Japanese gardens and were amazed to see how many huge carp were in the pond. It was literally packed full of fish. We were told later by the staff that if you put your finger in the pond, you can tickle their tummies!

Baby loved exploring the bridges, little seats, steps and all of the little hidden areas.

It was a long way for Baby to walk (especially after a long weekend), so poor Mr Hubby ended up carrying Baby a fair way. She looks quite happy about it though!

We stopped in the lovely cafe to get Baby some lunch, before it was time to catch the train on the mini railway. Baby couldn’t wait to get going.

The train took us all round the gardens and there were lots of wonderful treats to see on the way.

We did go past a particularly smelly area, which Baby exclaimed was disgusting!

The sculptures were really beautiful!

It was lovely to watch Baby enjoying herself so much on the journey.

There was even time for a lovely cuddle with Daddy.

We had a lovely time at Exbury Gardens, it’s a great place for kids to be active with so much space to run around. There was also a playground, but Baby was too tired by the time we came across it.

Disclosure: We were given free admission in return for sharing our thoughts.

Looks like a great day. Lovely photos x
I got lost in your photos. What a gorgeous place to visit and a lovely little model there too! Must read your Beaulieu post as we will be visiting there in a few months. My dad said there’s plenty of cars to see so our son is super excited and has had a few strops because we’re not there yet. Must pop Exbury gardens on our list of things to do in Hampshite, it looks beautiful x
