My 1st Years – Girls Wooden Toy Crate Review

My 1st Years is a Baby gift company specialising in personalisation.  We were recently asked if we would like to select something to review, which was a difficult task as there was so many beautiful things on the website.  As we always need more storage (which parent doesn’t!), we plumped for the ‘Girls Storage Crate’.

The crate was packaged well and arrived wrapped in tissue and lots of bubble wrap.  I love the polka dot design of the crate and it suits us that it has ‘Baby’s Toy Crate’ on the front.  The crate is H10cm, W34cm, D23cm, so it is not large, but there is plenty of room for smaller toys.  Baby and I spent some time putting all of her small toys in this crate and all of her larger ones in another, which she thought was quite good fun!

The crate is handmade from MDF, which gives it a shabby chic look.  It also comes in blue and I think either would make a lovely gift.  Priced at £25 it is probably more than I would spend for a crate of that size, but the fact that it has the cute text on the front would potentially tempt me.  The crate was well made and nicely painted.
