Kiddicare Toddler Bed Review

Something exciting happened recently in our house.  Baby moved into her ‘big girl’s’ bed!  Before I mourn the passing of her baby days, I wanted to share a review of the Classic Toddler Bed from Kiddicare.

I thought this bed looked like a great option for Baby’s first bed, as the little side rails would still give her a bit of security.  Having a low profile, means it is easy for your child to get in and out themselves, fostering independence.  Also it will be long lasting purchase, as it is suitable for children ages 18 months to four years.

Mr Hubby put it together really quickly (which is new….) and Baby was keen to try it out.

In these pictures we have bed bumpers under the sheet, which is why there is a ridge on each side.

Baby did really well and after falling out of bed once on the first night, she slept straight through for three nights in a row.  Since then we have had lots of great nights with no night wakings.

It is a lovely first bed and is very reasonably priced at £69.99.  Available in either antique or white and takes a cotbed mattress size 140 x 70cm (sold separately), which is quite a standard size.

Baby loves it!

Disclosure: We were sent this bed in return for an honest review.

  2. Archie’s nearly 28 months now so we’ve been thinking about moving him to a toddler bed but with his sleep issues & Autism we’re going to hang on just a bit longer. This toddler bed looks like a fab option, I love white furniture

  3. That bed is so cute! We’ve gone straight to a single bed for A and will do the same when Little Man goes into a bed but if we were using a toddler bed this would be a great option x
