We love the great outdoors! I have ridden horses all my life, so am accustomed to being outside come rain or shine. I think Baby is following in my footsteps and needs to go for her fill of fresh air every day.
So it was ideal for us when we were asked by Muddy Puddles to review their SlushStomper Snowboots. Baby refuses point blank to wear gloves and sometimes hats are a little hit and miss. So I do like to make sure as much of her as possible is warm and snuggly.
SlushStompers retail at £35.00 for those with a fabric top and £39.00 for the brown suede topped ones. I think they are great value for money. As we all know, good quality children’s shoes are not cheap. So I think this price range is fair and competitive for such a quality product.
My initial thoughts were that they would last a long time (apart from the fact that her feet grow like weeds!). You can tell they are fab quality sturdy boot.
My history with horses means I practically lived in outdoor boots for many years. I really like the design of these boots. There is a zip to make them easy to do up on a toddler that is keen to get going! With additional velcro straps over the top of the zip and a super soft fluffy lining.
We have tested these boots few times now. In reality they are a little bit too big for Baby, but she managed to play in them just fine. She wore them on her first ever snowy walk and her feet were so warm and toasty when I took them off. It made me wish I had a pair! They are sure to keep your little ones tootsies cosy, however cold it gets.
They have a rubber foot and a fabric or suede upper. You can tell from the quality that they will be an enduring boot.
Even though I ordered a larger size than she is, she was really comfortable in them. She puts them on herself, which she wouldn’t do if she disliked wearing them.
They even go in the washing machine!
These boots are now a firm favourite in her winter wardrobe and we wouldn’t hesitate to buy some for her next year.
