We recently received some feeding products from OXO tot, the Divided Plate and the On-the-go Feeding Spoon. Baby is quite a messy eater, when she does eat! So I was keen to try out these innovative looking products.
Divided Plate
This plate has a specially designed clip on ring (the green rim that you can see in the pictures), which keeps the food contained in the plate and not flicked all over the living room or being chased round and round the plate! It has a non slip bottom and is weighted to give it more stability. The ring can then simply be clipped off, as the child gets older.

This spoon is made from soft silicone, which is gentle on baby’s gums and mouth. It is shallow, which prevents feeding baby too much food at once. The contoured handle is comfortable to hold and angled for easy feeding. It has its own carry case, which is compact and can be tucked into changing bags or handbags.

Firstly, please don’t judge me on the food shown in these pictures! Baby doesn’t eat well and the one thing she will always eat is scrambled eggs and sausages!
Anyway, back to the products, I loved the design of them. I like that they look a bit ‘cooler’ than normal plates and spoons. Baby seems to like her food in separate areas and the edge of the plate does seems to help her get food on the spoon. Although it is still a little hit and miss at the moment! The spoon is a nice petite size. I have found some are too wide and difficult for little hands and mouths to deal with, but Baby seems really happy and confident with this one.
I would not hesitate to buy from this range again.

This plate looks like just what we need. I’ve been looking for a sturdy divided plate for a while. Don’t feel bad about Baby’s diet either. I give Elsa what she will eat because I’d rather she ate something than refused the stuff I put in front of her.
