The List #44

Welcome to ‘The List‘.  If you are new here, ‘The List‘ is a great linky that I co-host with amaze-balls Hannah from Mums’ Days.  The idea is simple, just link up any post that is in list/bullet point format, easy!  I use mine to record my weekly highlights and remind myself of my hit list and targets, but yours could be a ‘top ten’ list or anything you fancy.  Your posts can be old or new, all welcome.

This week I am linking Are you ready to go pro? and How to strike gold in your work/life balance.  Hannah is sharing Exercises to do at home and June Favourites from Live. Love. Blog.

We are also linking How to start a blog  from our collaborative blog Live. Love. Blog.

My favourite posts from last week were;

TheList

I loved reading Leigh’s self appraisal.  Such an inspirational lady.

The List linky

Casey’s ‘The truth about bedtime’ is so funny, check it out if you haven’t already read it.

The List - 5 things my toddler is crap at

Kaye post ‘5 things my toddler is crap at’ is so funny and I love the ‘hiding’ picture.

Now time for my list;

REAL LIFE

  • Baby had her first sports day.
  • Had my first trip to the cinema in years!
  • Been hit with exhaustion and so have really struggled to get stuff done this week.

BLOG & SOCIAL MEDIA

  • I have been trying hard to get ahead, as we have a busy July with Camp Bestival at the end of it.
  • Have done a couple of promising pitches.
  • Our new blog is going down well with the readers.
  • My most popular blog post this week was; Behind last week’s List post – Baby’s Messy Adventure & Matilda Goody Bag Giveaway, followed by Are you ready to go pro?
  • My own favourite post this week was; Lip sync for a lipstick!  As is shows what craziness you can come up with when working with friends.
  • Reviews I have shared: Realtimes video editing app worth £79.99

So you know what do to, grab the badge and link up your lists. I can’t wait to have a read!

  4. First sports day sounds like so much fun! Was it a competitive one or one where everyone wins? No wonder you were hit by exhaustion you’re a very busy lady! Hope you manage to get some well deserved rest at Camp Bestival! x

  5. Spooky! My kid has his first sports day and I had my first trip to the cinema in YEARS too!! What did you see? I saw Jurassic World and it scared the moly’s out of me. I did however find it highly unrealistic that a woman would still have a full face of makeup on after being chased and almost eaten by a T Rex. But hey, maybe she was wearing a really good brand and not the cheap crap that I buy from Superdrug. x

      She was a little overwhelmed but did do a couple of races. Really glad you are enjoying Vlog stars. I haven’t really got any time to rest until we go to Camp Bestival at the end of the month, sooo looking forward to it xx

  11. Ahhh first sports day is always such an emotional day – bet you and baby loved every minute of it. Hope you’re not feeling so exhausted this week.

  12. The cinema, what a treat! My local cinema does a ‘big scream’ where you can see the latest films but with an under one in tow. My boy is two now and I miss that! Although in reality stopped going when he was about eight months as after that couldn’t really guarantee a lap sleep…
    And I am one the readers that is really enjoying liveloveblog…so any great tips!
    Thanks for hosting #thelist x

      Thanks hun. We used to go to Baby cinema, but never lasted a whole film. I haven’t really been out at night since Baby was born (and she is 27 months!) So it was long overdue 🙂 x
