The List #46

Welcome to ‘The List‘.  If you are new here, ‘The List‘ is a great linky that I co-host with amaze-balls Hannah from Mums’ Days.  The idea is simple, just link up any post that is in list/bullet point format, easy!  I use mine to record my weekly highlights and remind myself of my hit list and targets, but yours could be a ‘top ten’ list or anything you fancy.  Your posts can be old or new, all welcome.

This week I am linking How to write 17 fabulous blog posts a week and 5 things to achieve before the end of the year.  Hannah is linking Abs Work and Natural Ways to Induce Labour.

We are also linking Deciding on a blog name from our collaborative blog Live. Love. Blog.

My favourite posts from last week were;

TheList

How my toddler is like a woman with extreme PMS, was completely genius!

someplace strange

Loved Mrs Tubbs ‘Things she’s tell her teenaged self’, fabulous lessons that we would never listen to if our parents told us.

mama's vida loca

I really enjoyed reading Jessica’s post sharing the things she has learned being a mum of two boys.

Now time for my list;

REAL LIFE

  • It was Baby’s last week of pre school before they break for the summer.  Such bad timing as she asks to go and see her teacher now!
  • Had a lovely time with Em, Annie and Ez.
  • Did lots of baking with Baby.

BLOG & SOCIAL MEDIA

  • I reached #1 in the Teads Lifestyle chart.
  • I broke the 11k follower mark on Twitter!
  • New blog discovery: Mummy Bisson, Nicole’s lovely blog, has only recently come on my radar. Such a lovely read.

So you know what do to, grab the badge and link up your lists. I can’t wait to have a read!

  3. I’m desperate to get in the kitchen and get baking, especially with Bake Off coming back soon (squeal). I’m not great but I find it therapeutic, everything I make looks like a Pinterest fail but at least it’s tasty! x

  4. Thanks so much for the shout out! I’m so happy you enjoyed my post, funnily enough I wrote it one morning after a discussion with my father-in-law on the way to work and the sudden realisation of just how alike PMS traits and toddler traits are! Love it when a post flows so easily. Congrats on the 11k mark! That is amazing!

    It’s so sweet that you bake with your baby. I can’t wait until mine is old enough to do that.

  9. Gosh, thank you so much! This week’s post isn’t so cheerful, it’s about changes in South African law that will impact you if you’re traveling with children. Hopefully others will learn from our error 🙂 Have a lovely week

  16. Congrats on your new position in the chart. Thank you for this – I’m still so scared of Linkys because I don’t fully understand the rules, so the fact you state them clearly is v helpful. I’m going to be brave and join one soon! Happy Saturday and thanks again x
