Baby dreams of Spain

We love travelling as a family, until Baby was born we hadn’t been on holiday for five years, but we are trying to make up for lost time now! There is nothing like sharing travel adventures with your children, all the new sights and sounds; it’s so exciting.

Baby has been abroad twice in her three years, the first time to Spain and the second to France. Our Spanish trip was to enjoy Barcelona, which was amazing. We explored the city, had breakfast in the hippest cafe, soaked up the atmosphere as we strolled round the Marina and enjoyed both the zoo and aquarium.  We have had the city experience and we would now love to experience what it is like to stay in a smaller Spanish village.

Where we would love to stay

Our first challenge was to pick our dream villa from the Clickstay website. Boy that was harder than it sounds, there were so many awesome looking villas it took an absolute age. We finally decided on this amazing villa in Cortijo-San-Rafael, Frigiliana, Province of Malaga, Andalucia.

With 3 bedrooms this property, is in San Rafael, an exclusive area between Frigiliana and Nerja, would mean we could take Baby’s Aunty with us.  It was top of my wish list as it has both sea & mountain views, how perfect?!

Baby would LOVE the fact that this villa has a private pool, she adores swimming and I think we would struggle to get her out of it! Non-swimmer, Mr Hubby tried swimming on our last UK holiday, so it would be great for him too and I am sure he would come on leaps and bounds.

As a blogger I can’t go anywhere without wifi (I know, I know, but it’s true!) so knowing there is wifi in this villa makes me very happy. So does the wonderful terraced area with BBQ, I can just imagine us all sitting round the table tucking in, after spending the afternoon in the pool or sunbathing.

Our Activity hit list

  • We would love to visit Balcon de Europa, as it looks incredibly stunning and I would love to photograph the area.

  • The nearby tennis courts would get a little pounding as Baby is obsessed with balls!

My sunday photo 11th

  • Baby adores riding and so we would definitely have to take her to the local stables.

Sali and Baby 3

  • All of us really enjoy the beach, whatever the weather. Playa de Burriana beach sounds fantastic with entertainment, countless shops and a wide selection of restaurants; I’m sure we could spend plenty of time there.

Photography

  • Baby is a really little adventurer and a bit of an adrenaline junky, so Cueva de Nerja would be a must for us. Cue de Nerja are a series of amazing interconnecting caves. I know she would LOVE it!

It really would be a dream come true to win this holiday and visit Spain again. I would love to video our experience and take a  million photos as usual, but what special memories they would be.
