This year we did Camp Bestival in style! Our first year saw up in general camping and the second year in Camping Plus. For 2017 we definitely upgraded when Podpads offered to host us. As we were flying in from France, lugging a tent was not an option!

Our cute Luxury Bunk Pad
We were so lucky to be offered a Luxury Bunk Pad, which provides accommodation for 4 people.
WHAT’S INCLUDED IN A Luxury BunkpaD?
• Mains 240v electricity (a total lifesaver!)
• Solid pine bunk beds (my bad back thanks Podpads so much)
• Foam mattresses and fitted sheets (see above 🙂 )
• 4 single duvets and pillows
• Bed throws
• Scatter cushions
• 4 bath towels and hand towels (Perfect to use in the AMAZING boutique camping showers)
• Rug
• Hanging storage and coat hooks (really useful)
• Spot lights and mirror
• Carpet
• 4 camping chairs
• 2 camping tables
• 2 lanterns
I HATE camping, but love festivals and don’t really like the idea of not being onsite, so Podpads are the perfect choice for me. Sadly people’s tents were collapsing in the rain and wind, but we could enjoy ourselves knowing that we had somewhere dry and warm to return to and a hairdryer in there (not supplied!) to dry off our clothes. It made SUCH a difference.
The only issue we found, having a young child, was that the top bunks did not have a rail, so Ava couldn’t sleep up there, much to her dismay! The first night I did and it wasn’t the easiest place for a full grown adult to get into. From then on Hubby took the top and Ava and I were happily situated on the 2 bottom bunks in total cosiness thanks to the proper pillows and duvets.
You even get proper mugs! To a tea addict that is music to my ears! You can fill them up with free tea and coffee from the Podpads welcome tent (you might even get a biscuit too!).
They really had thought of everything, the lights were really handy and it was so good to have power – no struggling to keep our phones charged or paying the on-site prices at the stands for charging.
It was great to have shelves and storage space to keep our stuff in some kind of order. One of my pet hates about tents is the chaos that soon reigns!
Thanks so much to Podpads, you guys are awesome and we thank you SO MUCH for making our 2017 Camp Bestival experience really special.
P.S. You can also buy your own PodPad to use as a playhouse or office in your garden!
Disclosure: We were hosted by Podpads in return for an honest review.

Wow, they are fab. They would make me camp at a festival which I wouldn’t normally do because of the showers/toilets
This is so cute!
We did Cornbury and slept in a tent which was a bit of a mare but these look great! May consider Bestival next year!
