I remember as a child hunting for Easter eggs around our house and garden. I had such fun, it felt like a real adventure. I think I actually enjoyed the hunt more than the eggs. As we got older my mum allowed us to pick a present instead of eggs, this was usually a CD.
Over the last few years Mr Hubby and I haven’t really bothered with Easter as neither of us are religious or big chocolate eaters. This year is going to be a little different as it is Baby’s first proper Easter. I plan to send a few cards, decorate, do some Easter baking and give Baby an Easter basket (more to come on that soon!). So I had a little snoop round a few websites and came up with a selection of gifts for all the family.

I adore Easter and I am happy to let them have chocolate eggs, they tend to last quite a while with them. They are 9 and 7 and so it is ALL about the chocolate for them at this age!

Without being too controversial (I hope) you definitely don’t have to be religious to celebrate Easter, it is originally a Pagan festival of rebirth and I personally believe celebrating the beginning of new life is far more poignant than the religious story tagged on to the existing festival!
