I wasn’t that well last week, so instead of heading to London for an event we were mean’t to attend, we decided to stay close to home pottering round an artisanal market that was in town. Baby is at an in between phase, where she would much prefer to walk than go her pram, but still gets tired if we are out for a long time. So I decided that we would take her scooter out with us for the first time. Before Sunday she had only ever used it around our house or in the lanes. So we packed up and headed to town.
I love markets like this; packed full of local makers and there are always lots of pretty things, not to mention the lush food on offer.
Baby hasn’t got the hang of changing direction while scooting, so it was very stop start, as she kept adjusting her path, but she had a lovely time scooting along.
The food stalls were choc-o-block with tempting treats. I *might* have bought a Danish…..
I love how the simplest of things can make a child’s day. She would have spent hours peering through here looking at the ducks float by down on the canal.
We didn’t do that much really, just wandered around taking it all in and playing with Baby along the way.
Then it was back home for Mr Hubby to prepare a lovely roast dinner, while Baby and I snuggled under a blanket, editing these pictures.
I am truly blessed to be this little lady’s Mamma.

I love her little helmet and biker jacket very trendy! Monkey has a scooter and loves it although I am not brave enough to let him ride it in town yet! xx
Oh that does look like fun – and I love her outfit, especially the helmet! It sounds like the perfect way to spend a quiet day together 🙂
Again you amaze me with such beautiful photo’s! Baby’s boots look a bit like mini- Doc Martens, really love them. Did you buy some more food at the market (or just that one danish)? Seems like a perfect place to try out new food.

Loving her rocker look. I think the simple things like mooching round a market can be lovely. Especially when it’s not too busy and children are being entertained.
