Are you feeling festive? I love this time of year so much, and even more so since Ava was born. The magic of the winter season is much more amplified when you have small people in the house. It’s lovely to experience it through fresh eyes again, too.
As soon as 1st December arrives I think the festivities are fair game and we switch into celebration mode for the whole month. I used to love watching the movie channels that show 24-hours of Christmas films, sometimes the B-list movies are crackers! We play festive music, too, at every opportunity.
We also make the most of the DisneyLife App music library , so we can bring our festive cheer wherever we are going and have a sing-a-long. There are not many places that do a good-old-fashioned Christmas sing song better than Disney. They have the magic sewn up! Today, I’m sharing our favourite Christmas characters and the songs that we love, that you can find on DisneyLife.

Elsa – Frozen – Let it go
At the top of our list is Elsa. Ava is Frozen obsessed and so it makes total sense that she adores both Anna and Elsa and the iconic song, ‘Let it go’. She often gives us a rendition, usually on a daily basis! We both love the entire Frozen soundtrack.

Micky Mouse (and Minnie!) – Once Upon a Christmas – Jingle Bells
The most well-known and iconic Disney character has to be Mickey Mouse, so he had to make our list with Jingle Bells from Once Upon a Christmas. Ava can sing the entire song and it does feel a little like Jive Baby in our house at the moment.

Belle – Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas – As Long as There’s Christmas
Ava loves ALL the Disney Princesses and even knew the names of some that I didn’t. Belle is a definite favourite and Ava is often dressed as Belle at home. As long as There’s Christmas is such a beautiful Christmas song and we love it.

Kermit – The Muppet Christmas Carol – One More Sleep Till Christmas
A total family favourite in our house is the Muppets and Kermit, as the king of the Muppets, just had to make our list. The Muppets Christmas Carol is such a fabulous Christmas film and we love Kermit’s song, One More Sleep Till Christmas, for getting us in the festive spirit.
