Tonight Matthew I am going to be….

I have a new found love, videoing Baby.  I have always been a massive fan of taking hundreds, no thousands, of photo’s.  Pictures provide us with great memories and I must admit I am a bit addicted to snapping away.  However, recently I videoed Baby attempting her baby steps and ever since then I am hooked.  I don’t think I will ever take as many videos as I do pictures, but I love capturing more of Baby’s character, than I can in a photo.

With this in mind I wanted to capture a couple of little (in my mind adorable) things Baby does everyday.  As with all these small things, they may get forgotten over time.  I want to remember and cherish them.

I have combined both on this short video clip.  First up is Baby doing her impressions.  Her little friend TB has been taught how to do various animal noises and so I started to teach Baby too.  I love that she responds to my questions and knows exactly what I want her to do.

My other perfect moment is Baby playing with her pin wheel.  She has watched us blow on it to make it spin and she can’t quite do this, so she blows on it and gives it a helping hand..

Two little moments in our lives that I never want to forget.

  3. You’re right, it is better to capture certain little moments like this on video. We do it a little, but need to do it more, I think. Lovely video, and like how she got frustrated with blowing at the end there!

  4. Aw these are gorgeous and I agree there is something so lovely about watching them come alive on video isn’t there? She is very clever, LL is hardly talking at all yet. I definitely think it is second baby syndrome cause Mads was chatting non stop at her age! x

  6. Such a lovely thing to do. You think that you’ll remember all the cute little things they do but, over time, those memories fade. Love that videos can reawaken those memories.

  7. Also you should video the two of you together – they’re even more fun to watch back and a video of me and my mum together became my most treasured possession after she died a few years ago x x
