It’s Friday, so it’s time to link up with the lovely Jocelyn from The Reading Residence and decide on my Word of the Week #WotW.
This week my word is;

By the time you read this I will probably be on a train; a train to London to attend BritMums Live. All week I have been feeling a nervous anticipation, mixed with excitement. I really do need some ‘me’ time, time away just trying to regain my old self and time to be ‘me’, not mummy (just for a few hours). We have no local family to have Baby for an hour, while I catch up on things. Although I do not resent any single second I spend with my daughter, I NEED some time.
I am worried about leaving her, as I have only left her for a day before and this will be overnight. By the time I get back on Saturday night, she will be fast asleep and so I won’t see her until Sunday morning. This may sound silly, but my heart aches a little when I imagine not seeing her for that long.
But back to the excitement! I cannot wait to soak up all BritMums has to offer. Meeting the lovely people, some who I feel as if I already know; learning more to help my blog develop and just relaxing a little.
So if you are going to BritMums Live, then I hope I get a chance to meet you and if you’re not, then please wish me luck with leaving my little Buba.

It was so amazing to get to know you at BritMums live. And I am sorry it took me so long to respond to this but now I can after meeting you instead of before. lol I felt the same as you I did not want to leave my kids that long I have never been away that long from them. It felt weird and I think MM is still making me pay for it. Still making me suck up to her, spoil her and get back in her good light. She keeps giving me a look she hasn’t before so it’s making me feel very guilty at the moment. lol But I know it was good for both of us. Thank you ever so much for linking up to Share With Me.
