It’s Friday, so it’s time to link up with the lovely Jocelyn from The Reading Residence and decide on my Word of the Week #WotW. The word of our week has been;
This week we have been blessed everyday with the most glorious weather! It makes such a difference, doesn’t it? So we have been getting out into the great outdoors at every opportunity. I grew up surrounded by horses and animals, so I am at my happiest when I am outside and I think Baby feels the same.
Over the weekend, we had a family trip to the beach and visited a lovely children’s farm. On Monday Baby was reunited with one of her BFF’s (they had been on holiday) and it was lovely to watch the girls play together in the sun. They share so well. We have spent time in the garden, as Baby adores her sand and water table. I have been frantically trying to paint Baby’s picket fence while she has been occupied splashing, so we can get it put up at the weekend. Towards the end of the week we have spent time wandering through the park and playing in various playgrounds.
I do hope this lovely weather continues, as I hope to get Baby’s paddling pool out for the first time at the weekend.

Being able to spend lots of time outdoors is great! Sounds like you have had a wonderful week and the photos are fabulous – I particularly love the one of your little one at her sand and water table – she looks like she is having so much fun! 🙂

We’ve also spent most of our time outdoors the weather has been lovely! Though today it’s been branded the hottest day of the year and we just have wind and rain!

My world of the week would be HOT – i don’t like to complain as it has been glorious, but it has been uncomfortable at times…..need to invest in a paddling pool

But “outdoors” is a greeeeat word and despite the heat and humidity it’s lovely we’ve all been able to spend so much time in the open air of late. Sunshine for the soul and all that. 🙂
