I adore making films of our adventures and recently started a film making course run by the amazing Xanthe Berkleley. Each week we have homework; the first week was to make a weekend snapshot film, which I think I will continue to do and this week we were asked to make a video portrait of a person or a place. Obviously I chose Baby, as she is such a good subject. You should film things you love, so I was onto a winner there. I think I will continue to do these portraits, maybe every six months or so, as it will help us to remember what she loved at the time and capture glimpses of her personality.
I thought I would share it here on my blog. You can catch our videos on YouTube or Vimeo if you want to see some more. I hope you enjoy my first film portrait.

this is so gorgeous, what a precious way to capture memories of your darling girl. Well done!
What a lovely video, I like the music, it is so calming and it means you really focus on your gorgeous girl. It must be really good doing Xanthe’s course- I have known her years as we did a course together when I had only been blogging a few months. xx
Oh Aby, this is just stunning. Your bond, relationship and love for one another is just beautiful to see. I know you have been through some super tough times. You are an amazing mama. Baby is a lucky girl. Xx
