Help for tired skin with Biomed skincare

Juggling running a business and having a child means I’m time-starved and putting aside some of that precious time for self-care has never been a strong point of mine. In fact, although I’ve tried on occasion to embrace a skincare routine, I have always failed to keep it up.

Since turning 40 I know I need to start taking skin care MUCH more seriously unless I want to be giving the local Shar Pei a run for it’s money! So when Biomed offered to send me a selection from their range I was so grateful to be able to give these products a try.

Biomed is a german natural organic medical skincare brand, who aim to eliminate all harmful and dangerous elements to ensure safe and effective products. All of their products are eco friendly, dermatologically tested and are paraben, mineral oil and synthetic fragrance free too.

CREAM FORGET YOUR AGE FACE CREAM

This anti-wrinkle face cream is a stem cell rejuvenator. The stem cells in our skin allows for our skin to be rejuvenated every 21 days. This cream boosts our stem cells which typically lose effectiveness as we age, which causes wrinkles to appear and deepen over time. You can apply this cream twice a day to the cleansed face, so it doubles as a night cream too which is really handy.

It has hyaluronic acid as an ingredient, which also helps to creates smoother, soft and younger looking skin and claims to lock in moisture for 24 hours. While protecting your skin from the stresses of everyday life, such as pollution and free radicals. It’s also 98.9% natural. I’ve love that this cream is not thick or greasy; it has a luxurious feel, but is absorbed really quickly and leaves my skin feeling nourished.

FORGET YOUR AGE – FACE OIL

This anti-wrinkle moisture oil has bio filling spheres which swell in water rapidly and act to smooth contours. They tighten the contours and fill wrinkles, which gives you the effects of collagen but without injections. Biomed claim this oil decreases the total length of the wrinkles by 27%, which is quite dramatic! I’m not sure I’ve seen specific benefits of this oil, as I’m trying all of the products together, but it does have a luxurious feel when applied to my face.

FORGET YOUR AGE – FACE MASK

With the same anti-wrinkle features of the above products, bio filling spheres which raise the contours, decreases wrinkles and gives you that collagen effect, but in the handy convenience of a mask you can enjoy while relaxing in the bath…. well we can all hope can’t we!

This serum has all of the wonderful age defying features packed into a luxurious skin nourishing serum.

FRESH EYES

‘Fresh Eyes’ is an eye cream that is made to reduce the appearance of puffiness under the eyes, totally a must for us tired mums! You only need a tiny amount of this cream and I felt it tingling/tightening after application. It gives a collagen boosting effect without injections which lifts the contours of the eyes, filling in wrinkles, and plumping the skin.

MAGNIFICILS

This product claims to make lashes look longer and thicker. With X-Lash Peptide as an ingredient, it prolongs the growth phase of eyelashes. The ‘Lushes Lashes’ serum works like a dream. Pop on the serum like you would an eyeliner and between 28 and 42 days later you’ll have longer fuller lashes. I’ve noticed that I don’t seem to be losing as many eye lashes as usual, so fingers crossed they are super lush by around 42 days!

The Biomed products are great, I’ve seen a noticeable improvement in the quality and radiance of my skin. I also love the ethics behind the brand, and knowing they don’t contain nasties is very comforting.
