I’ve previously admitted a dark secret here on this blog. The secret that I’m not always as organised as I appear on the outside.… I know, I know, shocking isn’t it. A few weeks ago I shared how Epson ReadyInk was coming to my rescue with their epic service. Their organisation means if I forget to buy ink…. Hypothetically, of course, they will have already sent it to me. Meaning we will never be without AND we don’t have to rely on my memory! Hooray!
I wanted to update you on how we are finding the ReadyInk service and the epic Expression Photo XP-8500 Small-in-One printer.
In addition to my work printing needs, like scripts for videos, planning documents and the countless other things I personally print. My husband travels quite a lot with work, so he’s always printing of tickets and other travel documents. Then add into the mix Little Miss Ava who is obsessed with colouring, puzzles and cutting things up. The vast amount of kid friendly stuff on the internet means that I can quickly print off whatever she fancies doing and she has it in her little mitts within seconds… o.k. minutes as I have to walk upstairs!
Ava always asks me to print the gorgeous backgrounds so she can then cut them out and make pretty pictures with them.
Hubby works more from his phone than his laptop, so he uses the Epson iPrint app to print directly from his phone. He’s happy as it is quick, easy. He can do it last minute when he’s heading out of the door to catch a flight and realises he hasn’t printed his boarding pass!
Another thing we love as a family is photography and it’s so easy to print our favourite snaps on the XP-8500. I rarely send photos off to be printed, so it’s great to be able to print them right away at home and know that they are going to be great quality. It can print up to 8” x 10”, so they’re a decent size too. There is the option to create custom borderless photo collages from Instagram, which is such a cool thing to do. We send quite a few of these to my mum in the UK. Oh and you don’t even need to fire up the laptop, just pop in your USB or memory card straight into the printer and you’re good to go!
Are you super organised and remember to buy ink refills or would a service like ReadyInk help you out?
