Fun on the HUGGIES® Pull Ups® Bus

Last week Baby and I were invited by HUGGIES® Pull Ups® to a bloggers event in London.  Baby is almost 18 months old and so, in the not too distant future, potty training will be on the cards for us.  So we headed off to the big smoke!  The event was held at Surrey Docks Farm,  opposite Canary Wharf, such a fabulous setting!  I loved the contrast of the farm and the animals, against the back drop of London big business centre.

Huggies BusAfter we had all met and had tea and cupcakes (amazing cakes!), it was time to board the HUGGIES® Pull Ups® Bus!  The American yellow school bus has been taking the potty training experts to parents all over the UK.  The aim main being the reassure parents that potty training shouldn’t be a time of anxiety and stress.

HUGGIES® Pull-Ups® Psychologist and potty training expert Emma Kenny says: ‘Potty training is a significant milestone in a child’s development and it can seem like information overload for parents working out the best approach for their toddler – but it needn’t be an arduous task thanks to HUGGIES®.’

As well as providing help to parents, the bus also keeps the children busy with a special mini-bathroom splash play area, a Disney® themed bedroom and special area for parents to take photographs of their children as a memento of their time on the Pull-Ups® Bus.

Baby had a wonderful time on the Pull-Ups® Bus, she especially loved the water area.  While the kiddies played, us grown ups had chance to quiz the experts and learn more about HUGGIES® Pull-Ups®.

HUGGIES® Pull-Ups® and Pull-Ups® Night-Time potty training pants are designed to encourage independence.  They have special features which help to teach kids about becoming dry.

HuggiesAfter all the fun on the bus, we were treated to a tour round the farm.  The kids got to meet the rabbits, guinea pigs, donkeys, goats and Turkeys.  At this point I had to break away from the group and take Baby off for a stroll in her pram to get her to sleep.  While she napped, I rejoined the group in time for a yummy lunch at the side of the Thames.  It was glorious!  Watching speed boats pass by, while having a few moments to relax and chat with the amazing PR team Lucy and Stav, and all the other lovely bloggers.  Then the car arrived to take Baby and I back to Paddington, to wing our way back home.

It was a great day!  Baby and I would like to thanks Huggies and Surrey Docks Farm for inviting us along.  If you want more information on potty training tips and advice visit www.pottytraining.co.uk.

Disclosure:  We received our travel expenses and a goody bag for attending this event.  All opinions are my own and are 100% honest.

  1. Wow this looks like such a fun event! I always think it’s so weird having a farm so close to the busy city. Looks little LO had a great day out!

  2. Looks like a fun event and the pull up bus looks amazing! I must admit that we went straight into pants so I have no experience of pull ups but whatever works best for the individual child when potty training is the way forward. x

  3. I love that bus. Your photos superbly capture the event. We didn’t use pull ups during potty training in the end, but have used them every night for bedtime since, although he now gets up twice a night to use the loo, so their use might finally be coming to an end. Given the long length of time we’ve used pull ups, it wasn’t affordable to keep using those every night so we moved over to Lidl’s ones. xxx
