I love the process of writing a weekly gratitude list, as it ensures I consciously take in the small, but lovely things that happen every day. Then, they are immortalised here on the page, so I will always remember.
This week I have loved;
- The fabulous PR people who arranged a car to pick me up from/take me back to the station to save Baby and I tubing and walking to the event.
- Watching Baby wearing my slippers, she loves them and shuffles around the living room.
- My shiny new computer, that I won back in May (only just set it up).
- Walking round the local nature reserve with Baby, enjoying the sun.
- Watching Baby get on her rocking horse to watch TV.
- That Baby swam completely on her own.
- That my first blog post for a brand went live.
- Listening to Baby say Yo-Yo, when she is given a fruit Yo-Yo. #Adorable
- That I wasn’t as bad at French as I thought I would be. #NightSchool
So what are you grateful for this week?

It’s on my list of 101 things to keep a gratitude journal, but I haven’t started it yet. I’m glad you’re focusing on the positive.
Lovely post – it’s important to look back and appreciate things that have happened each day.
A lovely post! Well done to baby for swimming on her own x
I love these weekly posts appreciating the small good things in life.
I love posts like these. We should all appreciate the small things in life.
This week I helped son apply to University. I love him he’s a creative, loving individual 🙂
My daughter used to like finding my shoes and trying them on! So cute to see them playing.

Bless Baby swimming on her own 😉
I love these posts, the smaller things are what’s important x x
I think it’s such a good idea to keep a gratitude journal – I really should start to keep one. Great news that Baby can swim on her own, and well done you, Aby, for going to night school to study French. V impressive!

We are moving there so I have to! 🙂 x
I have loved watching my two eldest children try on their daddies shoes for the first time when they were babies. Can’t wait until I youngest is toddling around and into everything!
Lovely to have these memories to look back on 🙂
This is so important…especially when your oven, TV and buggy have broken!! Such cute moments xx thanks for sharing xx

Thank you sweetie! Yes I live by “when it all goes to shit, give thanks!” just as well really 🙂 xxx
For some strange reason, but probably my pre-8am delirious states, I couldn’t help but say ‘yo-yo’ in a French accent upon finishing this post :/
Well done on winning a computer and baby on swimming by herself!
To be honest I am grateful that it is coming to the end. We lost Gran at the beginning of the week and we are the one task with sorting out all the arrangements and it is exhausting.
I hope next week will be at least a bit easier on us.

Hurray for not having to take the tube. Another fab list as always. Sorry for the delay comment we have been all really ill here. Thank you so much for linking up to #sharewithme
Lovely. I especially enjoyed baby on her rocking horse and saying ‘yo-yo’ – too cute! It’s so nice to take time to think about what you are grateful for. You’ve inspired me to mentally do it right now and the main thing I’m appreciative of is smiling at me, smacking his chops together and playing ‘trampoline’ on the sofa! #brilliantblogposts
