How to make over your bedroom on a budget

Do you find yourself scouring Pinterest for ideas to pep up your home? I can spend far too long pinning ideas, especially the ones which give us maximum benefit for minimum outlay and effort. It’s wonderful to find tips, tricks and products which can give a tired room a refresher feel.

I used to love a DIY project, however these days I need simple and quick fixes. My business and mum duties leave me no time to take on large home improvement projects, so I’m always seeking great ways to give a room a new look. Also as we are renting, we don’t really want to do any decorating projects and would rather put our money into items we can take with us when we move on.

One easy way to create a transformation in the bedrooms is to change duvet covers. Especially if you’ve gone for a plain colour scheme on the walls. Although duvet covers serve a practical function, a new duvet cover and some carefully chosen accessories will give you an easy instant make over. This also means you can switch up your room decor with the seasons, without having to get the paint tins out!
