Active Family Adventure – Win a Family Trip to Go Ape

How active is your family?  Outdoor clothing brand Berghaus recently conducted a survey of UK parents to find out how often the whole family get together to do exercise-based activities such as a bike ride, a trip ice skating or just enjoying a country walk.  Shockingly nearly 50% of parents admitted they didn’t manage it more than once every other month. Wow!

In response to these finding Berghaus are encouraging families to swap the indoor activities and screen time for outdoor family adventures.  These adventures could be anything your family loves; hiking, horse riding, enjoying the beach, playing in the park or simply a lovely country walk, whatever floats your boat.

Here is the picture we have entered.  Baby and I enjoying a walk on the stunning Tenby beach, in Wales.  We were staying at Bluestone and Tenby had been recommended to us by a friend for its stunning beaches and they weren’t wrong!  It was gorgeous.  Mr Hubby shot this picture into bright sunlight and I love this effect (I have not edited it or made it black and white). The day was really magical, running around the beach exploring, hiding in caves and splashing in the sea in our wellies.  Being January, the beach was almost deserted and it felt like it was our private beach.  Such a breathtaking place and one which we would love to return to one day.
