Gratitude List #19

Gratitudelist

*

I love the process of writing a weekly gratitude list, as it ensures I consciously take in the small, but lovely things that happen every day.  Then, they are immortalised here on the page, so I will always remember.

This week I have loved;

  • Listening to Baby shush (with a finger to the lips) random barking dogs in the street.
  • That I am one of five finalists in the Non-Dad category of the Love All Dads 2014 Awards!.  So honoured.
  • That Diet Chef are supporting me with my weight loss.
  • The way that Baby steals everything I try to eat with a tilt of her head and an open mouth!
  • That I have risen in the EBuzzing rankings to 18 in Parenting and 45 in blogs overall.
  • Cuddling Baby in the dark, when she put both arms around my head and gave me a massive cuddle.
  • The look on Baby’s face when I let her try tea (a drop on the end of my finger), a massive smile and she said ‘tea’
  • That Baby put her wellies on all by herself!  #ProudMama
  • Watching Baby try to cuddle the computer screen (while saying ahhhh) when she saw kittens on someone’s post.
  • Watching Baby playing in puddles.

So what are you grateful for this week?

  1. Well done on being a finalist for the Non-Dad award! Thats awesome and good luck!

I took my little one pudding splashing the other day and she had so much fun! It’s so lovely how the simple things are amazing for them

  2. Such a great idea to make a gratitude list. Now you have made me think about what I should be happy about and I realise that there is a lot to be happy about. The best one was my son getting 3 job interviews.

  3. That’s a great list and a lovely way to record memories? This week I’d probably include a family night snuggled on the sofa watching the Great British Bake Off final. #sharewithme

  4. Huge congratulations on being a finalist over at the LADS… I nominated you so Im glad to see you make the list. Thats excellent news about Diet Chef too. I wish they’d ask me to take a journey with them too.

  5. Puddle fun is fabulous! My daughter went through a phase of being completely terrified of rain after getting quite wet in it once. We managed to get her through with a lot of puddle jumping!

  6. Congratulations on being a finalist, and on the ebuzzing rankings! That really is a bit achievement as it takes a lot of hard work to rise up the ranks.
