I love the process of writing a weekly gratitude list, as it ensures I consciously take in the small, but lovely things that happen every day. Then, they are immortalized here on the page, so I will always remember.
This week I have loved;
- Going down a twisty slide with Baby at soft play.
- Still losing weight and inches with Diet Chef!
- Catching up with old friends.
- Making plans to meet up with a fabulous new blogging friend, who only lives an hour from me!
- Having Mr Hubby home this week, he has such a calming influence on this house.
- I have received sponsorship to take part in the Team Honk’s Danceathon on 8th March (Thanks Betfair!).
- Some lovely blogging things on the horizon.
- The kindness of a lady who chatted to me, when Baby was screaming and lying on the floor in Mothercare.
- Baby patting me on the head when I wasn’t very well.
- Looking forward to our first family holiday on Monday!
So what are you grateful for this week?

Love the photo – Baby always looks so happy. Glad someone was chatting to you whilst she was obviously not so happy in Mothercare – always nice when people are friendly during times like that! Well done too on continuing to lose weight – sounds like you are doing really well with Diet Chef 🙂
Lovely list Aby – so cute that Baby was affectionate when you were unwell 🙂 Hope you have a wonderful holiday xx
Hurrah for holidays!
Love how in one line baby was screaming but that was followed by her patting you on the head!
Oh I am very jealous about the danceathon!! I would love to take part!

How lovely of that lady to chat to you rather than tut and make nasty comments like so many people seem to do when kids have tantrums. It really makes a change!
Well done on your weightloss again this week. It’s great to read someone’s real experience with Diet Chef as I have always wondered if they lived up to their promises.
Lovely photo of Baby in her posh wellies too!

It is always nice when people realise that when our children are crying we feel awful but also have to stand our ground (or there is just no talking to them), I get so many funny looks when one of mine are having a tantrum, I wish just one would say “I’ve been there” or a simple “Don’t worry they will grow out of it” Would be ever so comforting 🙂
Enjoy your holiday!
How lovely of the lady in Mothercare, sometimes its just nice to have a knowing smile!
Well done again on the weight loss, your doing so well!
I hope you have a fantastic holiday
