Gratitude List #36

Regular readers will know I write a weekly gratitude list.  It ensures I consciously take in the small, but lovely things that happen every day.  Then, they are immortalized here on the page, so I will always remember.

Gratitude list

This week I have loved;

  • Watching my daughter play with her friends.
  • That Baby seemed to enjoy her first visit to preschool.
  • Watching Baby select her favourite toy for the day, which then accompanied her everywhere.

Gratitude

  • My friend’s support during a bad day.
  • Listening to Baby say ‘I know’ while pointing her index finger in the air.  Then she added ‘Daddy gone’!  So cute!
  • That Mr Hubby’s car has been finally fixed (after 5 weeks!), so we can get out every day now that we don’t have to share my car.
  • Teaching Baby to say her name (first & last).
  • The way Baby says ‘Wow’ at new things or shiny things…
  • Listening to Baby scream her version of ‘yeehaw’ when Sheriff Callie comes on.
  • Laughing at Baby when she shouted ‘GOAL’ and put her hands above her head, when I pulled into a parking space.
  • That Baby watches me put my make up on and then demands a dab on moisturiser on each cheek!

So what are you grateful for this week?

I am linking up with This Enchanted Pixie’s 52 weeks of gratitude and

  1. I love Baby saying ‘GOAL!’ as you pulled into a parking space – that really made me chuckle. Love the things that kids come out with! Lots of lovely things to be thankful for this week – glad Mr Hubby’s car has been fixed and that Baby enjoyed her preschool visit. Hope you have a lovely weekend 🙂

  2. What a great idea! I read that feeling grateful increases your happiness levels. Have you felt this effect? I try to count my blessings quite frequently but perhaps I should take your example and write a gratitude list too. We often concentrate too much on what we don’t have and forget about all the wonderful things we have.

I find knowing I have to write this list, makes me focus and remember the good times, so in that respect I have more awareness of the happy moments x

  3. What a lovely list of things!! LOTS on there to be grateful for!! 🙂

My boy’s car was broken for AGES and we were having to do without, as he used mine to go to work. The relief when it was fixed and we were mobile again was incredible! So nice to be able to go out again! 🙂 X #HappyDays

Ah thanks huni! Yes she seemed o.k, we will have another couple of sessions and then I will have to tear myself away from her, really don’t want to do it, but I think it will be good for both of us xx

  6. Fab list so positive. Oliver always has to my face cream on in the morning, I’m tempted to buy him his own tub. Yay to the car being fixed, I hated only having one car!

Bless her she is a little crazy! She isn’t two until the very end of March, so maybe after that, I am not 100% convinced yet x
