If I Could…..

I saw this post a while ago over on Marmalade Pie and have been meaning to write my ‘If I could’ for ages.  Well here it is and if you want to write your own, consider yourself tagged.  I think it does us all good to dream a little once in a while, so I hope you will indulge me.

If I could live anywhere…

I would pick a house by the sea.  I love quaint chocolate box cottages, but in reality we have far too much stuff to ever cope in one of those, so a big house by the sea would be lovely.  Probably in Cornwall.

If I could have any home…

Well I don’t think a small house would cope with a crazy small person and two dogs, so I would adore a barn conversion.

If I could have any garden…

I would love to have a swimming pool.  I have quite a bad back and swimming is the best exercise for me, but I hate public swimming pools (weight issues!), so having a pool at home would be awesome.  I would also love a little stream and a footbridge (who knows why?!). It would be wonderful to have a garden with a gorgeous view of the sea, like this holiday home we stayed in in Devon.

If I could be on holiday right now…

I would be in America, hopefully stopping in New York.

If I could have any job…

This will sound sad but I have my ideal job.  As a blogger I am running my own business, choosing my workload, being creative, working with great people, getting an opportunity to travel, oh and if I wish I can go to work in my PJs!

If I could have any talent…

I would love to be able to sing (and it not sound like I am strangling a cat!).

If I could live any day again…

Well, it would either be our wedding day, as a couple of things went wrong and I would love to experience the day exactly how I planned it; with the music I picked!  Or the day I found out I was pregnant.  After trying for a long time to get pregnant and being diagnosed with unexplained infertility, when I found out I was actually pregnant, I was so worried something would go wrong. I would love to experience it without quite so much worry.

If I could have any superpower…

To eat whatever I want and stay my ‘ideal’ weight. I would love to live without thinking about whether I can, or should, eat something and just to be able to relax.  After dieting for most of my life this would be an incredible superpower for me.
