Woo hoo! I’m going to BritMums Live thanks to my wonderful sponsor Puckababy. If you are a non blogger, or a blogger that has been living under a rock, BritMums Live is one of the UK’s most popular and well attended parenting blogger conferences. Where, once a year lots of lovely blogger types join together to collaborate and learn all things blog. Is this your first blogging conference?
It will be my first time at BritMums Live, but I am going to BlogCamp on Saturday.
Are you attending both days?
Yes indeedy and I am staying in a posh hotel! Ooh get me! Seriously though, it will be my first time away from Baby for that long and first time leaving her overnight, so I will probably boo at least once, be warned.
What are you most looking forward to at BritMums Live 2014?
I am looking forward to the entire experience. Meeting other bloggers who I have been speaking to online for months and am yet to actually meet, not least this Hannah, that Hannah, Vikki, Katie, Oh and this person and so many other lovely peeps! I am not listing all of them, or I may look more like a stalker!. I can’t wait to be surrounded by so many creative people and being able to get inspiration where I can. I’m a bit of a swot and so I am actually looking forward to the learning! Learning how to develop my blog and listening to the guest speakers. I have only been blogging for 8 months and so the whole experience will be brilliant for me to learn how to develop things further. I can’t wait!
What are you wearing?
Does anyone know yet?! I have no idea at all. I suppose it depends if I manage to lose some weight before then. I will probably be in flat shoes though. I love heels, but they don’t love me. I very much dislike sore feet.
What do you hope to gain from BritMums Live 2014?
Inspiration, ideas, new skills and mainly lots of new friends!.
Do you have any tips to pass on to others who may not have been before?
I have never been before, but I intend to make lots of notes. Photograph everything I want to remember, but can’t write down. Be brave (I am going to be nervous), but I need to ditch the nerves and speak to people. I am going to read the other posts in the link up to see what other tips people have, so I can be prepared! If you have any tips on ensuring I get the most out of this great experience (apart from ‘leave the mini bar alone’), leave me a message.

Sadly I am not going to either, I had a ticket for both but it’s my son’s birthday next week hence no Blogcamp and I simply cannot afford all the costs for Britmums. I went last year and it was so much fun, mainly for the social bit! Just wear whatever you feel comfortable in, trust me! The days are long and tiring. x

Wow, that’s great that you’re going ot a blogging conference. I blog in English and am from the Netherlands so have never been to a blogging conference (not least because I have no clue where one is here). I hope you’re haivng a wonderful experience there.
