Is you toddler mischievous? Time4Sleep.co.uk are looking to find the UK’s most mischievous toddler, so I thought I would share a few of Baby’s antics. Baby’s middle name should be mischievous. Here are a few things she gets up to on a regular basis!
- Mountaineering on the arm of the sofa to try to steal Mummy’s computer mouse from the top of the cupboard.
- Climbing on A.N.Y.T.H.I.N.G!
- Stripping the decorations off the tree and wearing them as jewellery.
- Getting stuck IN the decorations…..
- Giving Mummy the slip, so she can run down the track and she her pal, the sheep!
- Emptying all the drawers she comes in contact with, then getting IN THEM….
- Getting in everything she can possibly sit in.
- Sneaking off to the airing cupboard to use the electric blanket phone.
- Being a messy eater – Spaghetti bolognese face pack anyone?
- Dressing up like a crazy person just because!
- Trying to car jack Fireman Sam & hotwire Mummy’s car….
The things that keep Baby from DANGER!
- Stair Gates! – Thank the lord for stair gates. When at home Baby is either in the living room or upstairs, we have a living room door, with a handle that opens when you lift it up! Sort it people, really flummoxes the little brains!, and a stair gate on the other door. Containment is key!
- Reins (Toddle Pak) I definitely couldn’t take our little live wire for a walk anywhere without this bad boy. She likes to have HUGE tantrums if you suggest she goes with you and she doesn’t want to, and toddlers are slippery little things when they want to be!
- Plug Socket locks – Baby’s favourite sport is trying to stick a wet finger in a plug socket. These little beauties are vital to ensuring safety!
- Play pen – We have a huge play pen that divides into sections that we simply couldn’t have lived without. At one stage it kept Baby away from EVERYTHING and now it stops her climbing on the table and trying to get out of the window, I kid you not!
So as you can see Baby keeps me on my toes. Do you have a mischievous toddler?
This is my entry into the Time4Sleep mischievous Toddler competition.

I think she is slightly insane 🙂 x
Sebby has just started climbing and getting into EVERYTHING – much as its a fun age it can be hugely frustrating. It seems the word of the moment is “No”
Luckily, our climbing phase is over but I remember it fondly! Luckily, it doesn’t last too long. Love all of your photos 🙂

Thanks huni! Ours certainly lives up to expectations! x
Haha, this post made me chuckle and remember all the mischief mine have gotten up to over the years.
Our bathroom door handle was switched to open upwards after I caught my two year old twins (who are now 13!) standing on my washing baskets sharing a bottle of calpol left on the high windowsill!
I can assure you it also flummoxes adults too, I’ve had many visitors over the years stuck upstairs knocking at the door until I realise they’ve been gone a while lol
