My Weekly Weigh In

It’s that time of the week again!  Weigh day!  I am following the Diet Chef plan and you can see my previous weigh ins here.

Why is losing weight so hard!  O.k if I only had a stone to lose, it would be gone now and I would be working on maintenance.  Having A LOT of weight to lose means – 4 stone later I still have another 4 to go, plus some more!  Dieting long term, whatever plan you are on is HARD WORK.  I am not going to tell you that it is easy, because if it were then I wouldn’t have spent the last 20 years dieting.  At the start of your diet you are hugely motivated and focused, yet the longer you go on, the harder it is to stay on track, that is a simple fact.

A few weeks ago I shared 5 Tips For Staying Focused and this week I simply wanted to share a couple of quotes that come into my mind when I am having a wobble.

I truly believe that losing weight is a mental battle, much more so than a physical battle.  So this quote is very fitting.

Last weekend we had a family break and I am afraid I was off plan.  I struggle when we are away because my decision to be on a diet plan directly impacts my huband’s enjoyment of his holiday, as it is not much fun eating on your own.

I still fit in the dresses that I bought for Blogtacular (this weekend) and BritMums Live (next weekend).  Phew!

The programme I am on would cost £8.75 per day.  However, if you order a 12 week supply this daily cost reduces to £6.61 (this is for all three meals and a snack).  Check the website for great offers.

Disclosure: I am being sent Diet Chef hampers in order to review the programme.  All opinions are 100% honest and are my own.
