This Week’s Weigh In

Welcome back to my weigh in.  If you are a regular reader you will know I am following the Diet Chef plan.  Details of all my previous weigh ins are here if you want a little look.

So I have been on the Diet Chef plan (barring holidays) since October and wanted to highlight what I think are the best aspects of the plan.  I thought this might be useful if you are considering starting the plan yourself.

  • Convenient – When you are trying to lose weight, the more organised you are the better. We all know if you wait until you are really hungry and are not prepared, then chances are you will reach for the take away menu.  The beauty of Diet Chef is that all the food you need it delivered for you and it is waiting, no calorie counting or messing around weighing things.
  • Quick to prepare – Tied in with convenience, as a busy mum I find little time to prepare any food.  Diet Chef meals are ready in usually around 3 minutes, so brilliant for the time pressed amongst us.
  • Required little brain power – I have tried MANY diets over the last 20 years and some require a lot of thinking about.  Can you eat this on a certain day? Have you eaten all your X options?  With Diet Chef it is so simple, no thinking.  Perfect for those of us with baby brain!
  • Tasty – When I started I was quite prepared to have to endure the meals.  However, I needn’t have worried, in all these months I have only found one meal that I didn’t like (and Diet Chef don’t actually offer that meal anymore).

Buying a dress, then realising it was a size 16.  Also this week I have bought 5 dresses to wear at the next two blogging conferences I am going to, I just need to narrow it down!  The fab part of this was that I feel pretty good in every dress.  I know I am not where I need or want to be, but I am starting to look o.k in clothes again.

Weight lost

-1lb (total 58lb)

Not a huge loss, but I did lose 5lb last week.

Total inches lost (across 10 measurements)

– 0.5″ (total 68″)

The programme I am on would cost £8.75 per day.  However, if you order a 12 week supply this daily cost reduces to £6.61 (this is for all three meals and a snack).  Check the website for great offers.

Disclosure: I am being sent Diet Chef hampers in order to review the programme.  All opinions are 100% honest and are my own.
