We Took The Cavendish ‘Make A Mascot’ Challenge

We were challenged by Cavendish Online, an online insurance provider, to be part of their ‘Make A Mascot’ campaign.  Cavendish Online don’t offer their customers mascots for signing up, instead preferring to keep their premiums low.  Which is probably why they have been recommended by Which?, and have been moneysavingexpert’s top pick for the past 10 years.

The lower premiums mean that the savings you make can give you spare money to make your own mascot with your children and have lots of fun too!

The first thing I needed to do was to get a quote from Cavendish Online for Life assurance and a comparative quote (I chose Compare the Market).  Then, when I knew how much I would save, which in this case was £10, Baby and I could go shopping!

When we had our supplies, we were ready to get crafty!  Baby insisted on wearing her deely boppers… Maybe they add to her creativity?!  We are not particularly crafty and so we set our sights low and decided to create an elephant from a milk carton… as you do…

Baby enjoyed the gluing part!  I know, even in this first picture it bears a striking resemblance to an elephant (sense the sarcasm!).  However, I think we finally got there.

We made a little video of our crafty capers.  Here’s our ‘Make a Mascot’ challenge!

We would like to introduce you to our mascot, Boris the Elephant!

If you could make a mascot what would you chose?
