This week has been fairly relaxed, but I have been utterly knackered. I have got into a routine of getting up about 6am with Baby and then blogging from about 7pm (when Baby is in bed) until around midnight, but this week I have been falling asleep on the couch at 8pm! My stamina has disappeared. We have enjoyed lots of sun and some time with friends.
Our Week
- Sunday – Baby and I travelled back from Wales and then spent the afternoon chilling at home.
- Monday – We popped out to return our kitchen blind, so we had a bimble round the shop and a quick lunch.
- Tuesday – Swimming for us first thing, Baby fell asleep on the way back. So we stopped in Hungerford and went for lunch when she woke up. Our favourite cafe has been taken over and is now rather upmarket. A cup of tea was £2.50!
- Wednesday – Baby found her Xmas halo and insisted on wearing it! We met our friends Z and D for a picnic and a play in the park. It was exhausting, as Baby didn’t want to sit for a second and kept running off! After feeding the ducks/swans, we had some amazing ice cream from an artisan ice cream van in the town.
- Thursday – Baby and I went to our local nature lake for lunch on the decking and a play in the playground.
- Friday – It was back to Toddler Sense after a missed couple of weeks. Baby did not stop and so was exhausted half way through. Staggering around like a zombie baby. After another car-nap, we had lunch in the garden and then Baby played with her new sand and water table for the first time. Baby decided the water play was not finished, as she stuck her hand in my drink as I was trying to carry it all back in the house!
- Saturday – We had a quiet day, a spot of shopping (got Baby some mega clothes bargains) and Mr Hubby a few things for his France trip next week. We also made a start on sorting out the massive mountain of outgrown Baby clothes to get them ready for the sale we are doing. Going to be a long job! Baby wanted to wear her new sunglasses, even when she was reading…
So that’s our week captured. What have you got up to this week? x
