Christmas is now so close that I can almost smell the Turkey. I adore Christmas and I’m so excited to experience it this year with Baby. She is a almost three and is loving the preparations so far; I can only imagine what she will be like on the big day.
B&Q kindly offered to collaborate with us to give our living and dining areas a little festive sprinkle, to make sure we have a fabulous Christmas.

I love being cosy and so headed straight to the cushions/throws section of the website. Everyone knows you can never have enough cushions and I love this collection of beauties. I was very tempted to snuggle up mid photoshoot right there on the couch.

With four of us in the house most of the time, one throw was not enough, so I picked up this knitted one which has the added bonus of having sequins on it. You can’t beat a bit of festive bling. The concrete fake fur throw is wonderful, so warm and incredibly soft.
It is so lovely not to have the main lights on all the time so this Tripod light was a great option for us.

I picked the Stag bunting to tie in with the cushion. It is fab and I think I will leave it up all year. The bauble wreath is such a stunning colour, that perfectly co-ordinate our existing tree decorations.

To make sure not a drop of cosy heat escapes I added this gorgeous draught excluder.

Onto our dining area. A new white dinnerware set will be the perfect backdrop to our scrummy Christmas dinner, cooked by my wonderful sister-in-law. I know, we are so lucky!

I then set up a table which we use on Christmas day night, as we tend to have a buffet style dinner. I adore this Kilner drinks dispenser and the Kilner jar glasses. I think I might fill the dispenser with cocktails!

I love what you’ve done in your home! Your living room looks so cosy with all those cushions (of course you HAVE to have too many cushions) and throw. My favourite item is the deer bunting I think.

I work at B&Q and been eyeing this stuff up for a while. Looks lovely seeing it all in an actual home environment. Didn’t realise they sold dinnerware though!!! I’ll be looking for some now 🙂
