After the event, Baby received a Laugh & Learn Love to Play Fisher-Price Puppy to review.
This toy is suitable for 6-36 months and has two modes; learning and musical games. The puppy is brightly coloured and features large buttons, which are easy for little fingers to use. Through the toy children are introduced to early numbers, shapes and colours. The named body parts also help children to learn these words.
Our verdict
As a mum I like the fact that it is brightly coloured and ‘Baby’ friendly, with large buttons. I love that the toy is suitable for such a wide age range. It will grow with the child, as they develop and become more able to use all the features. This is a bonus as children go through toys very quickly and so one which could potentially last two and a half years is a winner in my book!
Baby enjoys playing with the puppy (which we are yet to name). At the moment she is simply pressing random buttons and putting him on her rocking horse for a quick ride! However, I am sure that when she gets a little older, she will be able to interact with the full features of the toy. For now, she loves cuddling him, whilst drinking her milk!
The big chunky colourful buttons on this cuddly puppy are easy for little fingers to press and the colourful flashing lights and songs encourage baby to try and try again. Combining two modes of play, learning and musical games, puppy introduces an early understanding of numbers, shapes, colours opposites and more!
