Heinz Baby Breakfasts Review

A few weeks ago we received a lovely surprise hamper from Heinz Baby.  It was full of breakfasts for Baby.

Baby can be quite disinterested in breakfast, so we were very happy to try out some new things.

In our hamper there was;

Very Berry Porridge

Six cereals breakfast Biscotti

Strawberry, Raspberry & Blueberry Muesli

Apricot & Peach Muesli

Fruit Puree pouches

Over a couple of days Baby tried out all the different products.

Baby really liked the biscotti and actually now has one every morning.  It’s great as it keeps her occupied, while I whiz around doing jobs and getting her breakfast ready.  The Very Berry Porridge was met with approval and didn’t last long.  I liked them, as they contain fruit and the porridge aspect will keep her fuller for longer.  The fruit puree pouches have always been a firm favourite in this house and is actually the only thing I can guarantee Baby will ever eat.  So she made short work of those.

The only think that she didn’t like is the muesli.  I tried both flavours on numerous occasions and she just didn’t take to it.  It is suitable for children from ten months and so it is very finely milled.  I think this was part of her dislike, as she is used to much more of a chunky texture.  I do, however, think that it would be great for younger babies, maybe those just starting the weaning process.

So thank you to Heinz for our hamper, we have certainly found more products to add to our breakfast arsenal!
