I have a very poor skincare routine, I think it is a bit of a stretch to actually call it a routine. As I am approaching 40 (18 months to go!) I have realised that I need to start caring for my skin a lot better, if I don’t want to end up looking like a Shar Pei.
I was very lucky to be sent some skin care products from made from earth and I couldn’t wait to give them a whirl.
My made from earth products;

Cucumber cooling gel
This multi-purpose gel can be used as a moisturiser or on specific areas, such as under your eyes, to heal sun damage and also to even skin tone.

Grapefruit gycolic wash
A gentle wash with a high level of vitamin C, which removes impurities. It also includes jojoba beads which stimulate your skin and activate the glycolic acid, which regenerates skin. Grapefruit has anti ageing properties and kills bacteria, which causes redness and acne.

Sea kelp & clay correcting mask
This mask claims to reduce pores, control oil and remove dead skin cells. Containing ocean minerals and organic products it is rich in antioxidant properties. They also claim you will see results after one use.

Vitamin C moisturizer
Contains the highest possible concentration of Vitamin C, essential for maintaining smoothness and elasticity. Vitamin C encourages collagen production, which brightens and softens the skin.

Vitamin enhanced face firming serum
This serum contains powerful organic nutrients of DMAE, vitamin A, B, C and E, and alpha lipoic acid along with meadowfoam oil. It counteracts dryness that occurs in ageing skin and increases the moisture retention capacity. ProVitamin B5 stimulates skin regeneration, while the organic compound DMAE immediately tightens and firms the skin.
The results

Cucumber cooling gel
I used this gel under my eyes and within a few seconds of applying, I felt a slight tingling feeling. I could feel the skin tightening and I did feel that the dark circles under my eyes reduced. Woo hoo!

Grapefruit gycolic wash
This face wash smells lovely and it is so gentle. The jojoba beads provide just enough texture to get rid of dead skin, but they are not harsh enough to irritate. My skin felt (and looked) brighter and fresher after the first wash.

Sea kelp & clay correcting mask
The face mask was easy to use and I could feel my face tightening while the face was on. After I had removed it, I my skin looked more even and healthier.

Vitamin C moisturiser
I love this moisturiser! I don’t like thick creams, that clog up your pores. This is perfect a thinner consistency, that when applied to the face felt fresh. My skin definitely looked brighter and and more nourished.

Vitamin enhanced face firming serum
I have only recently started to use facial serums and this one is great. It does exactly what you would expect tightens and firms the skin and I felt great results from the first use.
All these products are organic and not tested on animals. I would recommend made from earth, such great products which really do walk the walk.
