Noodle Kids Cook Book Review

Mr Hubby is the chef in our house, I like to think I am the baker…  I am lucky that he finishes work and is home early enough to give Baby her dinner every night.  Which also means he is responsible for cooking it!  (result!).  Baby can be quite fussy, so I think we have got into a bit of a rut and seem to rotate the same few meals.  So, I was really happy to receive Noodle Kids by Jonathon Sawyer to review.  In the hope that we Mr Hubby might find some lovely new things for Baby to enjoy.

Noodle Kids

It is a really lovely book, with such enticing photographs.  It is split into nine chapters:

1. Noodling Around with Noodle Kids
2. Know Your Noodles
3. Stuffed (recipes for filled noodles)
4. Baked
5. Gnocchi Time
6. Saucy (recipes for noodles with sauce)
7. Slurps (recipes for soup-based noodles)
8. Gluten-free Friends
9. You Can Do That with Noodles? (alternative noodle recipes)

Each chapter (3-9) are packed with yummy recipes that you can make with your children.  Although it is a book focusing on meals for children, it certainly doesn’t look like typical kids food.

Noodle Kids

The recipes are well laid out, very clear and they really do make you want to create the meals (even me!).  The book follows an American format, but does offer the conversions for you.

Noodle Kids

I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is enthusiastic in the kitchen and would like to freshen up dinner times!
