As part of our role as ‘Parragon Book Buddies’ we get sent a lovely new book to review each month. This month it was Ba Ba Black Sheep, which was brilliant timing as Baby has developed a little bit of a sheep obsession….
The book is a great size for little hands and is made from thick board, so it is really hard wearing and would be hard to destroy, which gets the thumbs up in our house.
The book incorporates a little black sheep finger puppet, which is attached to the book in such a way that it pops through each page. Baby loved trying to grab the sheep.
I know that Baby will be able to read this book for quite some time and we will be able to work up to her reading it herself, as her language develops.
It is a really great book and it is priced well at £3.99, considering the puppet aspect.
